
Seeing as it’s the first day of December I thought I’d share a lesson on the seasonal topic of Christmas. This lesson looks at different Christmas traditions in Britain with a reading text on where they originate from. There’s a chance to revise the tenses: Christmas Present, Christmas Past, Christmas Future and Christmas Present Perfect (a special extra treat for Scrooge*).
This lesson is for Pre-Intermediate/Intermediate level students.
*Scrooge is the main character in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. I’m sure he would have been delighted with a ghost of Christmas Present Perfect…
